China – Macau casinos to fully reopen

Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau has confirmed that gaming floors in the SAR will be able to fully reopen following a 12 day closure from July 11 to 22.
The DICJ said :“The concessionaires [will need to] strictly implement various preventive measures, strengthen cleaning and disinfection of the casinos and gradually restore the scale of operation. All visitors to the casino must cooperate with the casino’s various epidemic prevention measures, such as the presentation of green health codes, temperature testing and working together to prevent [cases] in the casino so that the gaming industry in Macau can be restored in an orderly manner.”
The closures resulted in Macau experiencing its worst ever month since records began in 2009 with GGR falling 95 per cent to just US$49m in July.
